The very first release of Mystery House was packaged as a small blue card that featured game instructions. The card was contained in a clear plastic bag that also held the game disk.
This release is not to be confused with the more common second release of the game, which was packaged similarly. However, the blue card of the second release was professionally typeset and featured artwork instead of a screenshot.
