Title: Whiz Kid Publisher: Softdisk
Type: Game Author: Gary Bond

Year of release:

1984
Platforms: Apple II
Copies sold: ?

Second (and probably last) in the the VentureWiz series of games written by Gary Bond, along with The Princess and the Valley of Fire. This was once again released under the Softdisk Rich 'n' Famous label (which is said to have been what the authors wanted to become).

The game is standard graphic adventure fare, with a verb-noun parser. This time, the adventurer (a child or teenager) is trying to prevent aliens from invading earth, but nobody believes him or her about the danger. How to proceed is far from obvious (potentially due to difficulties with the parser) - and I've never managed to complete the game.
